Greetings to Haumea Ecoversity Newsletter Followers:
Final Notice to Join Haumea Ecoversity for our early 2026 Cohort Doors close tonight, Tuesday 3 March.
Dear Reader, I hope this note finds you well, wherever you are.
A year ago, we launched Haumea Ecoversity as a membership program, inspired by Thich Nhat Hanh’s vision of building harmonious communities—working “joyfully together,” like 'a sacred forest'. Just as a resilient forest supports diverse species through storms, Haumea Ecoversity cultivates learning leaders with clarity, wiser ecological insights, and a community that supports each other through today’s challenges and the deep emotions they bring. And yes, many members remain for long periods, and there is much warmth and laughter too.
Our online Haumea Salons—the heart of the Ecoversity—are an 'isle of refugia', an 'isle of sanity', echoing the ecological wisdom of Kathleen Dean Moore, and Margaret Wheatley, the latter who reminds us in over 50 years of exploring leadership for the ecological emergency that: “We were made for these times.”The answers, as Wheatley says, "lie in community". And somehow we foster community, with members joining us from across Ireland and afar.
Why Join Now?
If you’ve been curious about joining our circle of eco-creatives, educators, researchers, and change-makers, today is the day. In my last 1-minute video, if you haven't seen it, I share how ecological restoration, creative practice, and holistic values come together to inspire confidence and connection. And a warm welcome to those in our Evening Thoughts course—feel free to explore and join too!
Watch it here and listen to how we’re re-enchanting education for wiser ecological understanding, creativity and individual and community resilience.
Is Haumea Ecoversity for You? If you’re someone who:
Wants to translate ecological values into meaningful practice,
Seeks confidence, trust, and community around your work,
Is ready to move beyond burnout and isolation,
Believes in the power of small, meaningful actions for a better world, …then we’d love to welcome you.
Membership is intentionally limited. Doors close at 12 pm tonight.
